The district has 6 members and 1 K9 that are part of the search team. These members train twice a month all over Northern Illinois with both K9’s and drones to assist in locating missing people. The team is activated all over the state about 45 times a year. One of the members and his K9 partner are also members of Illinois Task Force One state response team and are certified in disaster search.
